The deadline for submissions to the Spring Newsletter is February 10, 2010

What's Happening:

• The juried results are in for the Organically Green show , the juror's statement and photos have been posted.

• The full 2010 Wickford Art Festival Application (including the instructions) is now available.  This years festival will be held on July 10 and 11.
   

• The next Photographic Arts Group meeting will be held on February 8th at 7pm.  Results from this month's photo contest are posted on the Photo Arts Group page.
   

• Season Opening Show:  Organically Green
  The WAA is going green in February! Join us for a show of nature and anything organic. It might be snowy and gloomy outside but the WAA gallery will be green on the inside.
  Opening: Sunday, Feb 7^th from 1-3pm
  Juried by Amy Bartlett Wright
  $14/entry or 3 for $35.00. 3 entries max. Cash awards
  Registration:
    February 3^rd from 11-3 & 5-7pm and
    February 4^th from 11-3 pm
   
• The Monthly Photo Contest winners from the Photo Art Group are now posted on the Photo Group Page.
   

• The Holiday Edition of the  WAA Newsletter is online
   

• Storage of Artwork: Our board has begun to clean out our storage rooms and has done a GREAT job! With that in mind, please take note of when your artwork  needs to be picked up. Storage space is extremely limited. If for some reason you are unable to pick up your artwork on time, the WAA asks for a $5 per piece storage fee. All storage fees are deposited in our scholarship fund and are tax deductible. A receipt can be provided upon request. All art left unclaimed at the gallery a month after the previously mentioned dates will become property of the gallery and donated to a charity.
   

• Any members who don’t normally have internet access but would like a way to be notified on fast breaking news should contact the gallery and request to be put on the Telephone Tree.
