2007 Festival Application Guidelines

As the Festival draws near, we have lots of work to do
and we need your help!

Anyone interested in helping out with this year’s festival in any capacity, small or large, should contact Francie at festival@wickfordart.org or call 294-6840. We need help at the Friday evening artists dinner, during the Festival itself, & in the weeks beforehand to help sell raffle tickets & ad space in the booklet.

Tax Permits

Exhibitors who need a temporary RI tax permit to participate in the festival will be able to purchase it locally before the festival starts, on Friday evening, July 11th or Saturday morning, July 12th. Specific information on where to go will be posted on the website, so please check back. The cost of a Temporary RI Tax Permit is $10.00.

WAA Members

Here’s a way you can "appear" at the Festival without your own booth!

Consider taking out a business card size ad in the 2008 Festival Booklet. When was the last time you advertised to potentially 10,000 customers for only $30? Submit a JPG (minimum of 300 dpi), InDesign, Illustrator, PDF, PSD, SVG or Word file that is ready to print by emailing it to kakolb@verizon.net by May 25. Or provide a clean, scan-able copy of your card to Jill or Francie at the gallery. Your ad & your payment must be received by us no later than May 25. Contact festival@wickfordart.org or leave a message at 294-6840 for further info. Larger ad sizes available!!

We Need Your Help

We are running our scholarship art raffle again this year. This raffle supports the Wickford Art Festival. Anyone interested in donating a painting for the 2008 raffle, please contact the gallery or Francie Christophersen ASAP. We started the raffle early this year so we can expand the publicity given to the artists with months of advertising and exposure for all involved. Remember, this gift is completely tax deductible!

T-Shirt Logo Contest:

Anyone interested in participating in our festival t-shirt contest:
Please submit your design by May 1 to the gallery. Keep in mind we will be using only one color ink for the design on a colored shirt.
The winner will receive $100.00 and recognition in our festival booklet.
